Muscat is one of the most ancient, most cultivated and best-known grapes in the world and moscato d’Asti is one of the oldest noble grapes in Piedmont. This single varietal, with its charming characteristic fragrance, brings our excellent DOCG dessert wine alive.

Chardonnay is among the most widely planted vines in the world. Our version, 100% chardonnay strictly from the Langhe, is a soft pale yellow and brings out the characteristics of this international variety beautifully. Here we find the fresh and delicate fragrances of the Langhe: terroir, combined with aromas of white flowers, making it truly unmistakable.

From the single varietal, cortese di Gavi, this is a dry, straw yellow wine, with delicate scents and light body, good acidity and freshness. The unmistakable aroma in our version is… almond blossom.

Nebbiolo – from “nebbia”, which means “fog”. The names stems from the fact that traditionally the nebbiolo harvest take place in late October, when blankets of fog often drape the hills. Vinified as a single varietal, this red wine has garnet highlights, a delicate bouquet, and gives a well-balanced velvety sensation on the palate.

“Brume” means “mist” in Italian, and here it suggests the mists that cloak these vines on the coolest days: those in the final stages of the harvest period, when we gather nebbiolo and barbera at their peak ripeness. Aging in barrique and subsequent evolution in the bottle confer great softness, fruitiness and pleasantness to this Langhe Rosso.

From the most widespread grape in the land of Alba, comes our Dolcetto. Vinified as a single varietal, as per the denomination regulations, its aroma is decisive and deliciously fruity. Very pleasant and ready to drink, in the purest Stefano Farina style.

A truly noteworthy superior wine, attributable to careful selection during harvest and five years of aging (three of which are in Slavonian oak barrels). The result is surprisingly smooth, fragrant, and aromatic, without any excess tannins. In a word: wonderful.

This, of all our wines, best reflects the great modernity of Stefano Farina productions. Barolo hails from a long-standing history. In this land of great tradition it is the flagship wine, and as a top note to all this, our own Barolo has the added appeal of great fruitiness, making us especially proud.

We are very attached to this Barbera, starting with its name. The idea came to Giancarlo one day, when he was trying to concentrate amid the hustle and bustle of the winery activities. He desperately needed – you guessed it – silence, “silenzio” in Italian. Is a generous, intense and full-bodied wine, which admirably conveys the excitement found in the finest Piedmont wines.

Working from the particular acidity that sets this wine apart, we have created a very pleasing drink, with no loss of structure, more than capable of holding its own in this important category. Ours is truly an enjoyable Barbera, in the best Stefano Farina style.
