Not all our wines come from indigenous grapes. In our Salento production range, we are proud of our single varietal Sauvignon Blanc. Vinified without skins, Donna Giovanna is a very balanced table wine, with the classic aromas of exotic fruit. Dedicated to Giovanna, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother.

A “cousin” to Novembre, our Passo Albereto is also a meditation wine, the fruit of two native Tuscan grape varieties: malvasia bianca and trebbiano toscano. The difference between the two is that, for Passo, the grapes are dried and aged in French oak barrels for twelve months as opposed to 14 months for Novembre. The result is another, matchless interpretation of native grapes.

A blend, in equal parts, of white trebbiano toscano and malvasia del Chianti, harvested at the beginning of November, this meditation wine best expresses our philosophy for promoting indigenous grapes. A mild vanilla spiciness and hints of pear and apricot are the aromatic notes typical of these two varietals, along with grace notes of noble rot.

Muscat is one of the most ancient, most cultivated and best-known grapes in the world and moscato d’Asti is one of the oldest noble grapes in Piedmont. This single varietal, with its charming characteristic fragrance, brings our excellent DOCG dessert wine alive.

Chardonnay is among the most widely planted vines in the world. Our version, 100% chardonnay strictly from the Langhe, is a soft pale yellow and brings out the characteristics of this international variety beautifully. Here we find the fresh and delicate fragrances of the Langhe: terroir, combined with aromas of white flowers, making it truly unmistakable.

From the single varietal, cortese di Gavi, this is a dry, straw yellow wine, with delicate scents and light body, good acidity and freshness. The unmistakable aroma in our version is… almond blossom.

From negroamaro grapes that undergo an extended maceration, this wine is aged in oak and refined in the bottle. The result is an intense and velvety red, typical of Salento. With its impressive capacity for aging it is the perfect wine for experiencing and appreciating all the spicy scents of Apulia’s most famous native grape.

The negroamaro grape is very widespread in Apulia. In Salento, these grapes give us full-bodied, well-rounded wines with heady aromas. The harmony of our Donna Giovanna, dedicated to our family matriarch, is a perfect example of this varietal.
